It may be doom and gloom in the papers but the crowds at the Focus on Imaging Show don’t seem to have noticed.

Tuesday, day 3, and the show was still packed with a really enthusiastic crowd who are happy to stop and take in almost all kinds of presentations, from how to use photo software through to getting the low down on the latest experiences of top photographers.

And the stuff they are interested in is decidedly hi-end. Which is why Fujifilm can probably rightly claim to have the star of the show with the UK debut of the X-Pro 1.

The stand has also featured seminars by a number of professional photographers who have been given early access to the X-Pro 1 and have been revealing the results of their latest assignments on a couple of Philips Moth Eye TV’s to amazing effect – the 150,000,000:1 contrast ratio really does find its home in the world of high end photography.
