2019 - It was a very good year!

What a year!

We've only just got around to totting up how our clients fared in 2019 and the answer is pretty good.

In fact, we would be bold enough to say they did very well indeed.

It was a particularly good year for clients Philips TV and Bowers & Wilkins who shared 36 outright awards - in a nicely symmetrical 18 each.

In total, Philips TV enjoyed 585 articles or news pieces plus 44 reviews that included 20 five-star reviews, 13 Best Buys and three Editor's Choice nominations.

 

Philips highlights included no less than seven 'Best in Show' Awards for the newly launched OLED+984 set at IFA 2019. The same set would also win  TV of the Year from both Pocket Lint & Stuff - While Stuff's readers also made the set their Gadget of the Year.

AV Forums gave Philips three awards including Best Premium OLED TV and Best TV Sound - again for the OLED+984 - and in perhaps the highest accolade of the year, the Philip's P5 system was recognised as the Best TV Picture Processing technology.

It was also a stellar year for Bowers & Wilkins who enjoyed 589 news pieces plus 65 reviews that included 42 Five-Star reviews with 32 Best Buys plus three Editor’s Choice nominations.

 

Highlight of the year for Bowers & Wilkins must go to the prestigious What HiFi Awards with the brand’s speakers stealing the show. The 607 won the Readers Product of the year while the 606 won outright Stereo Speaker Of the Year and was also admitted into the What HiFi Hall of Fame.

And both Philips and Bowers won prestigious EISA Awards for good measure!
