Philips Speech Processing Solutions introduces its new Hi-Res Audio Recorder: the DVT7500

Philips Speech Processing Solutions, the world number one for professional dictation solutions, is launching the DVT7500, an innovative hi-res audio recorder targeted at the enthusiast and semi-pro music market.The DVT7500 can record PCM (WAV) and MP3 files at up to a 24 bit/96 kHz sampling rate, via either three high quality

microphones or XLR and line-in connectors – or uniquely via a combination of the two - allowing musician

s to simultaneously record voice via the microphones while easily plugging in their instrument to record directly - including multiple sources at once.

The input volume can also be manually adjusted by up to -20dB using a dial on the side of the device with the music recorded either

directly to the 16GB of internal storage or via the microSD slot for cards of up to 64GB.

The DVT7500 is also one of top models from the Philips VoiceTracers range making it the ideal consumer product for capturing music, notes, conversations, lectures, interviews and meetings.  The range includes audio recorders that come with integrated voice recognition software for instant voice-to-text transcription.

Alternatively, some models work in conjunction with Philips SpeechLive. This cloud-based service offers transcription through speech recognition software and/or professional transcriptionists.

The Philips DVT7500 for music has a large colour display and conveniently placed buttons making the product intuitive and easy to use.
